But my point is: Britney could have avoided all of her career mishaps and been prevented from making such a fool of herself if she had just had a nice vampire boyfriend to reel in the crazy Britney behavior. A vampire boyfriend could have definitely helped her out.

At 2 months old, Dean was the youngest passenger aboard the doomed vessel when it went down on April 14th, 1912. Her father died saving her and her mother's lives, ensuring they would be safely rescued.

Almost 98 years later, Dean has led a long and fruitful life, but recently her troubles seem to have worsened. Three years ago she broke a hip and required full-time care, and since then she's been living in a nursing home in Southampton, England.

To cover the cost of her care, Dean has been forced to sell some of her most cherished memorabilia. Still, this has not been enough.

So when Titanic stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and director James Cameron heard of Dean's plight, they pooled together $30,000 to bail her out.

The actors hope this money goes a long way to helping her spend her days in peace.

Jennifer Lopez Reveals Daughter's Medical Scare

Jennifer Lopez will never forget the night she and husband Marc Anthony discovered a lump on daughter Emme's head. Emme and twin brother Max were only 3 weeks old at the time.

"We both got very nervous, very very nervous, and I just remember my heart sinking to my feet," Lopez recalled at last night's Noche de Niños gala benefit for Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). "I looked at [Marc] and I said, ‘You know if anything happens, I'm not going to be OK, you know that, right?'"

Lopez and Anthony rushed Emme to Children's Hospital, where she underwent a battery of tests, including an MRI. "Luckily, in the end," Lopez said, "she turned out fine."

But it turned into something more for the hospital...

Shortly after the scare, the singer-actress joined forces with CHLA to form the Maribel Foundation to help provide pediatric medical services to the less fortunate.

"I started to wonder," Lopez said, "what if I couldn't afford a doctor or receive the medicines, the procedures?"

Lopez also debuted a new song last night, which she wrote for her twins. A recording of the ballad was played during a video highlighting the Foundation's work. In it Lopez sings, "Let's keep this time for us and make it last as long as we can. It's already going too fast."Meanwhile, Jamie Lee Curtis, who was given this year's Courage to Care Award by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, sported a pink wig.

The wig belonged to a 15-year-old girl who died of cancer.

"We were at a news conference, and she pulled off this wig and on her head she had written ‘Jamie Lee Curtis Rocks,'" the actress told me about her first meeting with the girl when she was 11. "That night I borrowed her wig and went to this event, where we raised millions of dollars for Children's Hospital Pittsburgh. After she died, I asked her mother if I could have her wig to carry her message."

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Return to Cannes Fest

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will make their grand return to the Cannes Film Festival in France this week. Last year, Angie made a huge splash heavily pregnant with twins Vivienne and Knox. And, she had two films to promote, the animated “Kung Fu Panda” and “The Changeling.”

This year her schedule won’t be quite as heavy. But Brad will be working to promote the new Quentin Tarantino film “Inglorious Basterds.” Brad stars in the World War II movie, one of 20 competing for the coveted Palme d'Or for best picture.

Last year, the Jolie-Pitt crew stayed with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen at his luxurious villa in Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera.

No word yet on where they will be staying this year, but they are sure to have the twins, Maddox, 7,Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, almost 3, in tow.

Brad is expected to arrive first, and Jolie will take some time off from filming “Salt” to join him May 20, according to People.com. It will be the third time the couple has jetted in for the film fete.

The festival opened today (May 12) with "Up," an animation comedy directed by Pete Docter and produced by Disney's Pixar studios. "Up," about the adventures of a retired balloon salesman and a zealous boy scout, has received solid reviews in Hollywood trade papers.

The film marks the opening of 12 days of screenings, interviews, red carpets and revelry. But like the rest of the global economy, the film industry is suffering in the downturn, and even the palm-lined, luxury Croisette waterfront is feeling the effects.

Party tents still line the beach and yachts fill the harbor, but in a sign of the times, Vanity Fair magazine has cancelled its exclusive party and the number of deals are likely to be scaled back as well in a festival that will be far less extravagant than previous years.

"Around Cannes, perhaps it was just too much sometimes, too much partying. This year perhaps we can think about the cinema, not the stars and the starlets and the excessiveness of Cannes but the emphasis on the films," Festival director Thierry Fremaux told Reuters Television.

Angie and Brad were among the most watched stars at the festival last year, and this year is likely to be no different. Except, Angie will be back to regular form, looking svelte with her trim, post-pregnancy body.
